University Lecturer at the Department of Economics and Business at Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Main Researcher of the Centre for Research in Health and Economics (CRES).
His main research interests include health economics, public economics, health management and economic evaluation.
Degree in Economics with honors (1983) for the Universitat Autònoma and a PhD in Economics (1991) for the same university. He was the director of the Center for Research in Health and Economics from 2010 to 2011 and 2014 to 2015, and co-director from 2006 to 2010. He was the president of the Catalan Agency for Health Information, Assesment and Quality (AIAQS) between 2010 and 2011. He is currently the director of the Master in Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics (MESOL) (IDEC-UPF) and the International Master on Health Economics and Pharmacoeconomics (MESIOL) (IDEC-UPF).
